Coneqtec Universal has launched a manhole
removal saw, the HS-57, for use with high-flow skid steer loaders and compact
wheeled loaders. With a 57inch (1.4m) cutting diameter the saw has a cutting
depth of 10inches (25mm). It uses a self-aligning clamp mechanism to attach to
the lip of the manhole collar, ensuring that the saw is centrally located. The
cutting action uses hydraulic pressure to push down on the saw, rather than the
weight of the skid steer itself.
