Chinese manufacturer Shantui Construction Machinery has introduced its
first machine for the US market.
The SD10YE bulldozer is the smallest in the firm’s line-up, but the
first to be supplied with a Tier III emissions-compliant engine.
The hydrostatically driven dozer uses a Cummins diesel engine rated at
100hp (74kW).
“This is our first product that meets the stringent emission standards
of Europe and the USA,” said international vice president Richard Li.
“It is the vanguard of a whole new line of
products that we will be introducing in the coming years.”
