250 runners raise US$5000 for the AEM Foundation at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2011

Just as dawn broke over the Las Vegas skyline yesterday morning, 250 runners gathered below the iconic Hilton Hotel sign to race a 5k course in a bid to raise funds for the AEM Foundation, which supports the Construction Challenge initiative.

Doosan Infracore marketing manager Robert Gilles just pipped Arcelor marketing manager Brent Lesseuer to first place with the winning time of 15minutes 38seconds. First lady home was Cygnus Business Media publisher Amy Scwardt.

The event co-ordinated by Maximum Capacity Media and sponsored by exhibitors at CONEXPO-CON/AGG, raised US$5000, which will be used to continue the work of the AEM Foundation to encourage young people to consider a career in construction.
