New to Hidromek’s
range this year is the HMK62SS-Mini backhoe loader, which the company said
provides great maneuverability through its compact but powerful design.
The
family-owned Turkish construction equipment manufacturer specializes in backhoe
loaders and excavators. Hidromek said that it is seeking dealers in the US and Canada.
Hidromek
has traditionally produced two conventional types of backhoe loaders: the HMK102B
and HMK102S. The HMK102S provides four-wheel and crab steering with equal-sized
tires.
Hidromek
range of excavators includes specialized machines such as material handlers and
long reach excavators. The company has broadened its range, which includes the
HMK220LC, HMK300LC and HMK370LC crawler models and the HMK140W and HMK200W wheeled
excavators. Hidromek’s plan for the next few years is to build smaller and
larger crawler excavators.
Japanese
and European main components are combined with Hidromek’s-classic steel
construction. The company’s Advanced Electronic Control System (AECS) has been developed
to optimize the excavators’ force, speed, consumption and productivity. The excavator
family features a newly designed cabin and a new user interface.
The cabin
of the new Maestro Series backhoe loaders has won the Superior Design Award in
the Design Turkey competition.
