JLG has incorporated a direct electric drive on
the Toucan T26E access platform, which is said to increase battery life and
allow a greater number of duty cycles. The T26E also features an AC motor for
quieter operation and reduced maintenance. The machine offers a 500lb (226kg)
capacity, with a maximum platform height of 26ft 5in (8m). Improved JLG
controls make it easier to reach up and over obstacles. Maximum horizontal
outreach is 9ft (2.74m) and the machine has an up and over height of 22ft
(6.7m).
