Compact
equipment manufacturer Mustang has launched the all-new model 2700V skid steer
loader.
Its vertical-lift boom provides more than 130inches (3.3m) of lift
height, which is said to allow it to reach higher than any competitor in its
weight class. The heavily constructed vertical-lift boom has also been designed
to provide considerable forward reach at trailer-loading and dumping heights.
Other key features of the 2700V include a Yanmar Tier 3 84hp (62.7kW) turbo-charged
diesel engine, a rated operating capacity of 2,700lbs (1,225kg). The extra-long
wheelbase and new chassis have been designed for improved stability and weight
distribution while thick steel plating and heavy-duty pins and bushings give
the loader strength. A high-flow auxiliary hydraulics option is available for
applications that demand maximum performance.
Electronic engine control and a foot
throttle enable operation at partial throttle for reduced sound levels and fuel
consumption.
