Oerlikon Fairfield used
CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2011 to introduce a hydraulic drive motor specifically designed
for compact tracked loader (CTL) applications.
Using a high-speed Sauer
Danfoss motor, the CT05 Torque Hub is said to be capable of handling a higher
torque load without increasing hydraulic system pressure. This final drive uses
a compact, two-stage planetary reduction and larger diameter integrated axial
piston motor than conventional hubs, that needs more oil flow but delivers a
smoother shift between the two travel speeds, said the company.
