Case Construction Equipment has expanded its F Series of wheeled loaders with the introduction of the 1021F and 1121F.

Both of these US-built loaders take Case into a new size class, with the 1021F tipping the scales at 53,500lb (24,318kg) and the 1121F weighing in at 60,800lb (27,636kg).

Powered by Tier 4 interim-compliant engines, the ratings are 296hp (221kW) and 320hp (239kW) respectively.

The two machines use a hydro-mechanical transmission that combines the advantages of hydrostatic drive with the durability of a mechanical transmission. Hydrostatic pumps operate at lower speeds for quick response, with the mechanical portion of the transmission taking over most of the work at higher travel speeds.

The machines have four power modes – economy, standard, max and auto – allowing the operator to fine-tune the engine and hydraulic output to the task.

A rearview camera provides live feed to a color monitor in the cab, increasing visibility for the operator. The Case joystick steering system is available as an option on both models.

“At a busy quarry or a construction jobsite it’s important to have excellent visibility to all corners of the vehicle,” said marketing manager Tim O’Brien.

“The Case F Series wheeled loaders offer better rear visibility than any competitor on the market and a panoramic view to the front and sides to increase operator confidence and productivity.”
