Rockmore International
has launched the ROK 500 and 500Q, the newest additions to its high-performance
ROK Series DTH hammer line.
These new patented 5inch (127mm) diameter class
hammers were officially released at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2011. The hammers are
designed to increase drilling efficiency in mining, blast hole, construction,
quarry, water well and geothermal applications. The ROK 500 accommodates two
different air packages, to match different working conditions. The ROK 500
hammer is rated for use with large compressors and the ROK 500Q hammer is
designed for smaller compressors. As with all of Rockmore’s DTH hammers, the
500 and 500Q incorporate Rockmore’s patented SonicFlow technology, which
optimizes airflow by simplifying and streamlining the air path to minimize
backflow and turbulence so that more energy is delivered to the piston.
