Caterpillar has added two asphalt
pavers to its road-building product line. The AP1000E and the AP1055E are
powered by a Tier 4 Interim Cat C7.1 engine offering 225hp (168kW). The pavers
have dual operating stations with Cat’s Advisor Monitoring System, tilting
consoles, a material handling system with independent auger and conveyor
systems and a choice of Mobil-Trac undercarriage or wheels. A high ambient
temperature cooling system, 25kW or 35kW generators and tilting consoles are
also part of the standard package.
