The RT600 is designed to be versatile and can be equipped to meet the
needs of a variety of sites with the addition of optional attachments including
a trencher, backfill blade, backhoe and rock saw. It can create trenches as
deep as 72inches (1.83m) and from 6-16 inches (150-410mm) wide.
The operator platform is open, allowing all-round visibility. Controls
are grouped on the operator armrest and the company said that the RT600 is one
of the only trenchers in its class that offers standard backfill blade controls
accessible from a swiveling seat platform.
The RT600 comes with a 65hp (48kW) diesel Tier 4i Cummins engine. It
has four-wheel steering for maneuverability and the incorporation of crab steering
is designed to be useful on slopes.
