Vermeer D20x22FX Series II flex-angle drill is for use in
geothermal field loop installations. The Unit can drill at any specified angle
ranging from18-90° . The machine is also a fully functioning horizontal
directional drill that can install horizontal loops as well as conventional
utilities.
The automated rod loader is modeled after a conventional HDD rod loader
with modifications to operate at the fully vertical position. The auto-drill
feature allows the operator to set thrust/pullback speed, pressure or rotation
modes and revert back to original setting with the simple push of a button. The
machine measures 65inches (165.1cm) wide, for maneuverability in confined
spaces. Drilling fluid pump is rated at a maximum of 25US gallons/minute (94.6lrs/minute).
